In 2002, an online community was established consisting of people from all walks of life. Together they collaborated on creative projects and traversed many game environments. The community was named Utopia Skye to symbolize the happiness & limitless abilities of its members.Today, Utopia Skye maintains a presence in several online games, as well as a vibrant community forum. It has a long history of working to publish books with unique member contributions, maintaining an Internet radio station, and being a hub where friends can gather & interact regardless of distance.

Wow Utopia Skye is represented in World of Warcraft (WoW) through the Valiant Knights of Skye (VKS) alliance guild on the Argent Dawn (US) server. VKS is a casual gaming guild that primarily assists members with character levelling and social endgame activities. The guild operates a guild bank with a member tradeskill network, and offers guild perks through the in-game achievement system.In addition to the general guild activities, the Valiant Knights of Skye have participated in several large roleplay events, inter-guild picnics and social events, and an inter-guild raiding consortium (The Valiant Crusade).For more information, please visit the forums or contact Elindo or Atropo on the Argent Dawn server.

Star Wars The Old Republic Utopia Skye is represented in Star Wars: The Old Republic (SW:ToR) by the guild. We can be found on the RP server Shien. The guild supports the Galactic Republic & has joined our former SWG Allies, The Protectorate.We are currently recruiting members to join us in this great adventure. Second Life In Second Life, you'll find Utopia Skye Enterprises as part of a triad of groups all focused on friendship, community, healing, & creativity.Utopia Skye Enterprises: Meetings are held at the Serenity Forest and consist of Utopia Skye creative Endeavors planning as well as whatever other items relating to Utopia Skye are to be discussed.The Earth Angels: Meetings are held at the Earth Angels Healing Center & Serenity Forest, and common practices are Reiki Healing, Attunements, Angel Readings, Angel Reiki as well as study & spiritual GrowthThe Poetry Garden: Meetings are held at the Serenity Forest and consist of Poetry Readings, writers Block Workshops & dotted through the forest you'll even spy some contributed works. Stop by and share your love of words and craft of writing!Aside from these groups we maintain a teaching & learning presence in many other holisitc groups in Second Life. About Us

Utopia Skye got its start in a game called The Sims Online (TSO) as a humble Poetry House. Because of the friendships made and the good times shared, Utopia Skye branched out in many diverse areas. Soon it became synonymous with "Fun" in many circles and cities within TSO. The community gradually moved to a presence on the official game forums before beginning its own forums, where members still participate to this day.Utopia Skye’'s past gaming pursuits have included TSO, There.com, Star Wars Galaxies (SWG), Second Life, Guild Wars, World of Warcraft (WoW), Lord of the Rings Online, Vanguard, Dark and Light, City of Heroes/Villains, and Star Trek Online.While still in TSO, Utopia Skye began its own Internet radio station, Utopia Skye Radio, to host many events where our DJ’s spun tunes into the night. The radio station was consistently active for over four years, and intermittently active for another two; plans exist to resume operation of the station in 2012. In addition to the regular programming and impromptu event coverage, some of our famous broadcasts included:~ The Fanny Tamers Hostage Crisis of 2003 [TSO]~ 24 Hour Thanksgiving Marathons~ The Celebration of Friends and Alliances Party [SWG]~ The Taming of Edward VanCleef [WoW]~ Regular Dance Contests and Live “Renaming” Polls [WoW]Utopia Skye also has a strong history of encouraging written work by its members, including a collaborative publishing project called “Digital Soup for the Online Soul” which was published in 2006. The book was written and published entirely by Utopia Skye community members to share their voices and tell stories of how the Internet helped to positively shape their lives. Utopia Skye also operated an online peer-to-peer writing school called Castle Skye, to encourage creativity while also educating writers and giving assistance to those seeking publishing.Our latest gaming endeavor takes us into Star Wars: The Old Republic, where many friends from previous games have joined together again to right the wrongs that caused unrest in that iconic and tempestuous universe.
