Welcome to Lady Selene's Corner of the Web
This site was started somewhere back in 6-2001. It began originally as my place to tell the world about Wicca. I was just learning all about many things I had felt for years, and still do to this day. My knowledge however has grown beyond just Wicca. It encompasses many things that are part of faith.
Traditionally, I am still called an eclectic solitary, in that I practice many different traditions including Wicca. I incorporate many different philosophies into my faith. I find that when forced to pen down exactly "What" or "who" I believe in... I seem to gravitate to Paganism. I believe in dualities. I believe in Goddess and God. I still pray the Our Father on occasion and even the Hail Mary. But I also pray Wiccan Prayers, as well as practice Buddhist beliefs and principles. So when asked what my faith is, I simply say my faith is in many things.
Many times people will try to force you to say, feel, or believe a particular thing because that's all they know as right. Someone else taught them this, as that person was taught and so on and so forth. There is no right way to believe. If your belief in God as he is known in the Catholic faith causes you to feel better, act better, treat others well and respect life, then so be it. The point is you believe in something outside of who you are, that causes or helps you to be better each day... more aware each day. This to me is the pinnacle of belief. People are fallible, faith is constant.
In this site you will find many different things. Hopefully something for everyone *smile*. I have included the entire original site started back in 6-2001 (64 pages devoted to Wicca and holistic practices!) as well as will be adding much more new content that embraces all beliefs and offers up peace to the soul that wishes it. It is a work in progress for sure, so come back often. If you find a broken link, let me know and I'll repair it.
